King Street Wharf, Sydney Harbour
We remember the Australians and New Zealanders who served, and those who did not return home.
The Ode of Remembrance
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
For the Fallen, Laurence Binyon, 1914
Marking the day
After the dawn service, gather on the water
On ANZAC Day, King Street Wharf joins the nation in honouring the ANZAC soldiers whose service and sacrifice helped shape Australia. It is a day of quiet gratitude and reflection, held each year on 25 April.
Following the dawn service, several of our harbourfront venues open to mark the day. The schedules for three of our largest waterfront locations are set out below.
A place to pause, remember, and stand together on the harbour.

Lest We Forget
Dawn services are held across Sydney on the morning of 25 April. We thank all who have served, and hold in memory those who did not return.
