Privacy Policy
This policy covers kingstreetwharf.com, the precinct guide to King Street Wharf, Darling Harbour, Sydney. It describes what information the site collects, what happens to it, and how to contact us about it.
What we collect, and when
Enquiry forms. If you send an enquiry through this site, for example a property or leasing enquiry, a listing correction, or a general contact message, we receive what you type: typically your name, email address, phone number and your message. We use it to respond to you, and for no other purpose.
Property and leasing enquiries are passed to the relevant agency. Enquiries about apartments, offices or commercial space at King Street Wharf are forwarded to the property agency that services the precinct, currently Vertical Property Group, who will contact you about your enquiry. Your enquiry is not sold, added to a marketing list, or shared beyond that purpose.
Browsing. Reading the site does not require an account and does not ask you for personal information. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, time) for security and performance, as effectively all websites do.
Embedded services
Some pages include content served by third parties. Where they load, those services may set their own cookies or receive standard technical data such as your IP address:
- Google Maps, for the venue and precinct maps.
- YouTube, for venue videos. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which does not set advertising cookies unless you play the video.
- Trustindex, which displays Google reviews of the precinct.
Each of these operates under its own privacy policy.
Outbound booking links
Links to hotel and cruise booking sites, including Booking.com and Viator, take you to those companies’ own sites. Anything you enter there is governed by their policies, not this one. Some of these links may be affiliate links, meaning this site may earn a commission on bookings at no extra cost to you.
Cookies
The site itself uses the minimal cookies WordPress and our host require to function. It does not use advertising cookies of its own. The embedded services above may set their own, as described.
Access, correction and complaints
To ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, contact us. If you are a business at King Street Wharf and your listing details are wrong, the same address fixes that.
If you believe we have mishandled your information and we cannot resolve it with you directly, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
This policy is reviewed when the site’s data practices change. This version is dated 17 July 2026.
