Booking rules worth reading before checkout
This is where an independent guide is more useful than another “book now” button.
The venue says the seating time starts from the booked reservation time. Ask the reservations team in advance if you want longer.
Alegre explains that it runs two sittings per service, which is why 7pm availability is not normally offered.
Expect a banquet requirement and a 10% gratuity calculated on the total bill. For 15+, use the Events enquiry route.
Up to 7 guests: cancel at least 24 hours before. 8+ guests: the venue publishes a five-day window. Late cancellation or no-show can attract a $50-per-person fee.
Alegre asks guests to call if delayed and says a booking is not guaranteed after 20 minutes without notice.
Alegre’s FAQ gives up to 1.5% in its service fee answer and up to 1.8% in its booking policy answer. Both are currently published, so confirm which applies before you pay.
Alegre accepts cakes from external companies with prior notice. It currently charges $5.50 per person for up to 15 guests, and an $80 flat fee above 15 guests.

- Is Alegre good for a date night?
- It is a strong fit if you want shared food, cocktails and a polished social setting. Friday to Sunday also brings resident DJs, so choose an earlier or midweek visit if conversation is the main priority.
- Does Alegre have harbour or waterfront views?
- Yes. The venue promotes harbour views and has waterfront balcony tables. However, it states that specific tables and main-dining areas are requests and cannot be guaranteed.
- Can a group order à la carte?
- For groups of 8 or more, Alegre says a banquet is generally required. The FAQ notes there can be greater weekday flexibility, but that needs to be discussed with the reservations team.
- What are Alegre’s current banquet prices?
- As checked on 12 August 2026, Alegre’s live menu shows the Experience banquet as both $99 and $109 on the same page, Signature at $129 per person and Chef’s Selection at $149 per person. Confirm the amount when you book.
- Is Alegre Halal?
- Alegre states that its food is fully Halal certified. Guests with severe allergies should still contact the venue because its FAQ says it cannot guarantee against cross-contamination.
